About Me

I know what it’s like to try to break into Data Science. In September 2014, I drove to San Francisco from my home in New Haven, CT to attend a data science bootcamp called Zipfian Academy. Three years, two data science jobs and a few consulting engagements later I began teaching as a mentor at Springboard, an online data science bootcamp, and over the next year and a half I had the pleasure of working with dozens of students, taking many of them from little or no data science knowledge or coding ability all the way through developing machine learning projects for their portfolios. Now, I’m offering my services independently and am excited at the prospect of guiding many more potential data scientists in their careers. While I’m working, my mom puts on a patriotic leotard, a cape, and knee-high, high heeled boots and fights crime as a super heroine.
